The new Educational Activities Building (EAB) at Penn State Harrisburg won a Dauphin County Premier Project Award in the Sustainable Growth category.  The project involved a new 51,500 SF classroom and engineering laboratory building and renovation of the existing classroom and office building.  The project included systems to reduce water and energy usage and is pursuing LEED® Silver certification.

The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission said in a news release that the awards “recognize professional leadership in creating projects which aid communities as they make planning decisions, promote smart growth, and spark revitalization.”  Judges said the project provides a “creative and unique” learning environment.

Raudenbush provided various services such as surveying, preparation of preliminary and final land development plans, landscape plans, municipal and FAA approvals, and campus utility coordination.
